The innovative design solution not only spotlights the vibrant Sharpie markers but also enhances the overall consumer experience with a flexible, reusable structure. The Challenge
Newell Brands wanted an upscale and dynamic package for “The Sharpie® Ultimate Collection Pack” that maintains the integrity of the product, stands out in a club store setting and provides a unique customer experience.
The Approach
We created a novel package constructed with upgraded material for strength that prominently displays Sharpie markers’ most recognizable feature (its colorful caps!) in a unique, premium and flexible structure. Hinged wings of the compact hexagon package turn out to elevate the user experience by creating a stadium display that provides full view of all 65 colorful markers while offering the flexibility to further extend its life through reuse for storage or as a desktop organizer.
